Let’s dive into what’s moving the market this week – here's your Carpool Market Pulse: Carpool Market Pulse (WoW + 3-wk): • Volume: ↓ 11% WoW; third straight decline. • Regions: SE ↓ 7% (near early-Sept baseline), MW ↓ 6%, NE ↓ 8% (multi-week slide), South ↓ 11%, SW ↓ 22% (~35% below over 3 weeks), NW ↓ 6% (~15% below). • Lanes: West Coast - East Coast long hauls ↓ 20–27% WoW. • Mix: Repo ↓ 8% (gave back last week’s +6%), Enclosed ↓ 4% (2nd week down), Multi-car shipments ↓ 6%. Pricing & Supply (Black Book): Wholesale ↓ 0.21% (drifting), Auction conversion 61% (from 64% two weeks ago), Retail supply 37 days (tightened from 40). Dealer Used Inventory: (Cox) ~2.21M units on lots at September start (+2% MoM & YoY, 2025 high), yet dealership days’ supply is falling on strong sales and acquisition pressure is rising. Playbook for This Week: 1. Revisit the Southwest Region for cross country moves as transport volumes have declined by 40% since mid-August.  2. Northeast & South Regions both experienced a post-summer decline, with current volumes below the median.  3. While there's been a slight dip, the Midwest region is still maintaining volumes at the median level, showing relative resilience.
