This summer, team members from Carnival Legend, Carnival Spirit and Carnival Luminosa stepped off the ships to explore Alaska’s breathtaking beauty—up close and personal. 🛳️ 🏔️ 🐋 In Skagway, team members from across departments joined a historic train ride to White Pass Summit, while others hiked to Lower Lake for a peaceful nature escape. In Juneau, a few team members took to the skies on a glacier helicopter tour which was described as "an unforgettable experience." From wildlife sightings to glacier views, these moments brought teams together, strengthened connections and made this Alaska season truly special. 🦅 ❄️

We were proud to sponsor the 18th Annual Galveston Women’s Conference, an event that brings together more than 1,000 women from our homeport community organized by our partner the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce. Our president Christine Duffy shared welcome remarks through a video, highlighting Carnival’s legacy and continued growth in Galveston. Carnival was well-represented at the event, with a table of women leaders including Guest Port Services Manager Nikolett Lazar, Senior Director of Public Affairs Kelly Penton Chacon, Galveston Seafarers Center Executive Director Jane Marie Phillips, Visit Galveston Director of Marketing Melody Smith, and top Galveston travel advisors Amy Overton, Vickie Benson, Lu Ann Fichera and Cindy Ramirez. To help end the conference on a high note, we also raffled a Carnival cruise for two with proceeds benefitting the Chamber. Attendee Rosalva Garcia was the lucky winner and will now be able to go on her very first cruise!

Our Contact Center Engagement Team organized a back-to-school fundraiser to support children and teachers in two of our ports of call. Thanks to this initiative and the donations received, 300 backpacks filled with supplies and personalized notes were delivered to students in Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatán and Celebration Key, Grand Bahama. Donations also provided art, music and classroom materials to schools and children’s homes. With teamwork across our organization, including Mardi Gras and Carnival Glory, every item reached its destination and into the hands of students and teachers who needed them most.
