⭐ Team Member Tuesday ⭐ Highlighting those members in our Team who play an important part in helping drive us forward. Archie joined our family in November 2021 in our Composites department, and works closely day-to-day with our Autoclave ovens. “Whilst laminating has a deadline to getting something physically made, my job is to get a part into the autoclave to get it cured and broken out of the mould before it goes into Composite Bond,” he explains. This means strict hourly deadlines for Archie and his colleagues, who work in staggered shifts throughout the day. “We ultimately keep things moving,” he says. Our Car Build periods have often presented the hardest challenges for Archie. During these times, Archie needs to manage his time effectively and perform under pressure. “I care so much about delivering the parts on time,” he says. “Fortunately, I have a really good team leader who understands that people can be dealing with multiple stresses all at once. I’m also grateful to have friends in the team who help during stressful times,” he adds. Like so many departments at our factory, much of this year has been spent looking to F1’s new era in 2026, and Archie notes his strong working relationship with Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains as one of his highlights. GT Racing Meets F1 🤩 Kimi and Valtteri were on hand to help launch the brand-new Mercedes-AMG GT2 Edition W16 before last weekend's Italian Grand Prix at Autodromo Nazionale Monza. Limited to just 30 units, the car is the fastest Mercedes-AMG GmbH Customer Racing car of all time, and gets its connection to our 2025 Formula 1 challenger through its colour scheme, and Kimi Antonelli signature subtly positioned on the door-sill. Kenzo Claims the Crown 🏆 Congratulations to Junior Driver Kenzo Craigie, who clinched the OK Senior title in the Champions of the Future Euro Series karting event in Sweden at the weekend. Celebrating STEAM By the Shore ☀️ Delighted to welcome 20 Mulberry Schools Trust students into our team at last weekend's Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look like no other at the world of Formula 1 The group - comprised of members from the Trust's Mulberry STEM Academy and Performing Arts programme - had the chance to get up close and personal with our W16 race cars and observed how our whole team comes together to operate effectively during a GP weekend. As well as a garage tour and show and tell session, the students also got to enjoy FP1 from the heart of our team motorhome.
